Reading your great pieces, I respect your way of writing. I have about the same ideas as you have, but my writing capabilities are not as good as yours.

Even here in the Netherlands we are starting the same strange way of thinking as you describes about USA and UK. There is only one thing important and that is power. Just Power and nothing else. The right-wing political people here have the same stupid way of thinking. The same stupid way of telling lies. Instead of investing in our society, in our education, in our science, we go running into the wrong direction of a one way street.

The lemmings have started to run again; I only hope they will stop before running into the abyss: I mean a third world war.

I am however still hoping that we are becoming conscience and seeing that we are going the wrong way, but what is Hope?
