Surrounded by silence. The wonderful stillness of things. Silence in my studio. Silence in my little apartment. Silence in the world.
Silence enhances solitude. The silence of the mind gives peace and contemplation. Silence is when nothing gets through to you. Even the murmur of the wind falls silent. When the voices of reason cease to come through and the ferocity of the world drowns out reason. I allow silence into my consciousness.
